Won't stop you, might raise a flag at one or two picky companies, usually they don't worry about "minor" tickets but big ones like DUI's are going to kill ya. Keep your foot off that gas pedal from now on.

You don't have much to worry about, too many companies out there looking for drivers. :biggrin_25521:

Just one more thing, whatever you do, don't try to hide that ticket. I've seen plenty of guys wash out during orientation because they didn't list a ticket, bad employer, etc (why this wasn't researched before orientation is another story).

Full disclosure is always best. It's better to explain the circumstances around something, than to explain why you tried to "hide" something.

Odds are that ticket will only keep you out of certain companies (because it IS 15 mph over), but you should still be able to get employed with a decent company.TG is right, just don't try and hide it.

I have a speeding ticket I got in 2007 of july that was 25mph over the speed limit. Will swift transportation still hire me since their policy reads that you cant have more than 2 moving violations in 3 years and the speeding ticket i have is just 1 moving violation. Please no ########.Thanks

A 25-over is a major, major violation. Good luck finding anyone to hire you for at least a year. Your age is also a big hindrance to finding employment.

    Nope...thats a MAJOR violation.

15 mph over is one thing, but 20 or more mph is not good.
