I will be glad when some of these other guys get out here....I think we are the only two who post our locations regularly. BTW I am at the J in Tulsa, OK. Will be at the customer in IN tomorrow. Looks like I will get my 34 then, as they will most likely be closed for the holiday, but I am going there to check it out anyway. Have you heard anything from TD24???

Sitting at the T/A in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Will be here 'til Tuesday morning. Been running strong since coming off home time. Dead headed up to Jax, Fl. and took on a live load headed for SW Michigan for Wed. am. Got 10 miles outside the Jax beltway and got sent a different load plan. They had me take the load over to Con-way Freight in Jax and drop it there and pickup an MT. Then they sent me to another shipper in Jax and dropped the MT and picked up a preloaded trailer headed for SE Michigan delivering Wed. am.
Not too cool. So I rolled out of Jax the second time headed for Michigan 4 hours after heading out the first time. But I do get $20 local delivery pay. Let's see $20 divided by 4 hours, wow! $5 per hour. The run to Michigan went alright. Got unloaded and sent in my MT call and an hour later got a dispatch to another live load 40 miles away in Pontiac and 1 hour and 15 minutes to get there. No problem right? Wrong! Nobody told me about these Stupid Michigan Lefts. So of course I ended up driving about 60 miles instead of 40 cause I couldn't figure out what in the **** was going on and the shipper ended up being down in the bottom of a residential type non-truck type neighborhood. So I arrived 10 minutes late which didn't mean a whole lot since they were only using 1 door to load out of and there was another truck in the door. This place is ultra Tight! Any-way about 3+ hours later I'm finally loaded and heading in to Rush hour Detroit traffic trying to get to the Taylor terminal on the Other side of Detroit as it was likely my only place to safely park for the night. Rolled in there with 6 minutes left on my 14. So this load is headed for Reading, Pa. with a 22:00 delivery time. It's a 9 hour ride from Taylor and the reciever is across the street from the Phillies AA baseball stadium and of course they do have a game scheduled that night. So I was sweating the where the heck am I gonna be finding parking around midnight with my 14 running down again. So I called the reciever and found out that they allowed overnight parking AND they'd try to work me in if I arrived early. So I got up the next morning and rolled. Got there just as they were singing the Anthem at the stadium across the street. This wonderful reciever had me unloaded in about 30 minutes and I already had a preplan for my next load 125 miles away picking up on the south side of Baltimore headed for Napa, Ca. I looked at my qualcom and I had 2 hours and 4 minutes left on my 11. Hmm. The next shipper DOES allow overnight parking and rush hours are past so I rolled the dice and off I went. Made it past the Baltimore beltway and got off the I-95 exit with 2 minutes left on my 11. Checked my GPS and I was 2.8 miles from the shipper. Limped her on in there. Woke up the next morning and was loaded and gone an hour before my scheduled appointment. Got headed towards Cali and refigured my 8 day and realized since I was coming off 4 days of home time and I was picking up Zeros 4 midnights in a row that the last one on Monday I'd have no hours left. So I ran hard for 3 days and relayed it off to a waiting driver in Cheyenne. So here I sit for 40+ hours but I'll have a new 70 and I'm preplanned to pick up a load right here in Cheyenne Tues. morn headed for Iowa. Kind of a hectic start to the week but I ended up with 3800 miles from Monday thru Sunday morning.

Sorry for the long post but about the only way I'm gonna be able to post is weekly. That inverter I paid Con-way $200 for Will Not charge my lap-top. So If I ever stop for very long like I am now I gotta take the laptop and charger into the truckstop to get power.
