The obstacle course is a series of obstacles set up to see how well you can handle your truck in tight spots. There are turns to get the trailer around, turns to get the fron of the truck very close to things, there is a pull up and stop with the front of the truck and the rear of the trailer, simulated scale stops, diminishing lanes, all kinds of stuff. It's really easy to pass, you can miss like three or four of the obstacles and still pass. They walk you through it before you drive it. Pay close attention to everything the instructor says and then try to watch a few people before you go. It was easy for our group. We had a guy who just had to be first every time.vmaggs Thanks this.

Yes they do have an onwer op side too. -
Do you know if the Owner Op side is worth switching too? My husband called and talked to them but we were trying to find out more from the actual drivers if it was as good as they make it sound.

I am just a company driver that hasn't been with them very long, but the company as a whole seems very professional and upfront about everything. We all have our little issues, but nothing near what you read about with some of these other companies (CRE for one)

Start boot camp tomorrow
vmaggs and blktop-bucanear Thank this. -
If you run into an instructor named Janice when you get to Crowder, please tell her hello from Tom Bernardo.
Don't fall asleep in any of the orientation stuff and don't be late for anything and you will be fine.
Have fun and be safe!!!blktop-bucanear and vmaggs Thank this. -
i heard they were good to drive for, but i want to go solo, do they have APU's on their trucks, or is it just some?

I dont know if you filled out an on-line app, but it took me one day to get a confirmation by E-mail and that night Keturah called and did the follow up interview over the phone. Three days went by and got the go ahead to set orientation for the 11th. Two other classmates of mine had the same scenario. Something doesn't sound right? Your already leaving your job with no orientation confirmation
, I'd be on the phone ASAP
blktop-bucanear Thanks this.
