Troopers hide in semi trucks to go after dangerous drivers

maryland bobtailed trucks on the side of the highways years ago with troopers and radar guns with road blocks about a mile ahead and you was done for if you were speeding-when i rolled thru there they had like 10 cars pulled.

 

Great work,,,pray they keep it up and adapt the idea in ALL states....

 

I'll volunteer to let them ride with me in Georgia.

 

In the 70's and maybe 80's Maryland used the Blue Goose, a confiscated IH Emeryville and stainless trailer.

 

Trooper writing the ticket: You're being cited for an improper lane change. You cut of that truck about three miles ago.

This is my thing about 4-wheelies. I honestly think most of them don't even notice us. We're the biggest thing on the road that nobody ever sees.

I've heard that OH has been doing these ride alongs for awhile.
If i had my own rig, I would volunteer to let an Il trooper ride along and let him see how bad it is goin thru chitwn. or even Mi. where theres no respect for us.
