Call recruiting, and tell 'em all about it. Everything. Don't try to sugar coat it at all. I can't really say how they'll look at it, but you didn't get a ticket correct? If you didn't get a ticket, I'd think you'll be okay.
However, it may be a good idea for you to get a copy of the accident report - whether you go with Prime or not.

Newbie here. After much research, I applied with Prime last week. I'm pleased so far. Just spoke with Gracie, my recruiter, and everything looks good so far. Waiting on responses from former employers, which shouldn't be a problem. I could be in Springmo on 26 July or 2Aug. Does anyone know if I need to bring a copy of my DD-214? I lost my original in a fire last year and haven't taken the time to order a replacement. I am scheduled for a DOT physical on Monday in order to test to get my Louisiana CDL permit. Then it's on to the DMV to test. Does anyone know which sections(s) of the Louisiana CDL manual to study in order to pass the La. CDL permit test? The website is very vague and it doesn't state in the manual what is covered for the permit test. I tried calling the DMV but apparently it takes an Act of Congress signed by the President to get someone with a pulse on the line.
BIG Thank You to IP, U2 and others for all the great info about Prime. -
Shouldn't need your DD214, but you will need a CERTIFIED copy of your birth certificate.
As to which part of the CDL manual to study? All of it! You can probably skip motor coaches, doubles/triples and tanker (unless you want to pull a tanker) - suggest you go ahead and test for hazmat now.LouisianaNewbie Thanks this. -
I have a certified birth certificate along with my passport and SS card.
I've been reviewing the entire manual for a few weeks. Finally got in touch with someone # DMV. She said the permit test covers - General Knowledge, Air Brakes and Combination Vehicles. -
My recruiter asked if I was (ex)military and if I had my DD214... she said to bring a copy.
He might check with his recruiter just in case. -
Quick question, please:
What about tolls, etc. Does the company pay or do you put it on 'expense' account? -
We have the electronic pass. If not you pay, then the company pays you back.
-
That's why I like you guys chiming in. When I went through orientation, they weren't interested in having me bring it. -
They had trucks back then?
HEHE
CadetTrucker Thanks this. -
bigrigdrmr and CadetTrucker Thank this.
