Hi BigKid.
I decided to go with ACT. On my first run, BTW. I leased 2010 T660 also. So far, so good. Not wanting to hijack BK's thread. I am pretty happy with the truck so far. Any issue I have had seems to be handled. Small company (compared to some) only about 300 trucks running. So far, I haven't run into any BS and they are treating me pretty good. Thanks BK for thread.

The load quoted above got cancelled because it got pushed back several days so I ended up loading paper in Wabash,In going to Kansas City,Ks.

Delivered in KC and got a choice of 3 loads
Topeka to Ft Worth but it is hot enough in KC so I figured Ft Worth would be way to hot.
KC to Homewood,Il with 3 deliveries Nah
KC to La Crosse,Wi and Franklin,Wi was the longest of the 3 so I took it. Picked it up and ran straight to La Crosse and got the first stop off right away and deliver the last one in a few hours. -
Just curious BigKid what are the trucks governed at, and what speed do you run at to get the 7.3 mpg. Also do you get to pick your truck or do they assign you one, ie if you wanted a 07 model. Thanks for any info.

Trucks are governed at 72 for lease and 65 for company trucks. I stay 65 or below 99% of the time. Speed I run depends on how heavy the load is really. They will ask you what year truck you want and will give you that if possible. Everybody I know so far that has started there since me pretty much got what year of truck they asked for.

Delivered in Franklin,Wi and had a choice of 2 loads to either Sugar Creek,Mo or Social Circle,Ga. I took the Georgia one because it was longer and delivered as soon as I got there. Empty there already just waiting for a load when the planner comes in in a few hours.

like reading your post.makes me wanna be O/O again lol.sold out in 07 when fuel went sky high.but seems like you got your head on straight.

Delivered in Social Circle,Ga then deadheaded to Gadsden,Al and got a load of tires I just delivered in De Kalb,Il. Had a choice of 3 loads. Chicago to Fountain Inn,Sc for Monday, Ottawa,Il to Ft Worth,Tx with 3 drops for Monday or Elk Grove Village,Il to Bloomfield,Mo for as soon as I get there. I took the Missouri one because I can deliver it right away and hopefully get something else and get more miles that way. If not I will just deadhead home with my 2900 miles for the week and start again Monday.
truckerim2055 Thanks this.
