Iam going out with hubby for about 10 days , very excited, looking forward to see what his new career change is all about. Hopefully we don't get the I-5 corridor. Any advise would be helpful.

Bring a book, take pictures, Pack light, Find things to do to help make it easier for him...like learning how to help pre-trip, fixing meals while he drives, helping in navigation, looking out for idiots on the road, etc. And if you end up on I-4, look for indian names and the differences between the 3 states in signage, speeds, litter, etc. Make it an adventure....have fun!

Had a great trip spent most of our time in oregon, washington on our return to calif the roads beat me up so got off 2 days early. My son went out next and spent 2 weeks with him all over the country, he hit 14 states in his 2 weeks, he enjoyed the trip except for the heat and a 32 hr restart with no air in a road stop. All and all i will go out again real soon.

I'm glad that you and your son both got to go out and see how your other half lives for part of the time. It takes a special woman to be a truckers wife.
