Yes I Can! All you have to do is keep your nose clean. I got out and went to driving a truck in 85 and have been at this ever since. One third of U.S. population has served at least 1yr or more, and 87% percent do not stay out over 5yrs before going back to the pen.

I belong to the other two / thirds, but good for you. Looks like your states penal system did it's job.

Only ex-con I have issue with is sexual predators...just a hang up I have because my buddies kid was attacked by one...messed up part is after they let him out he started at the same company we worked for...after the drivers figured out who he was he quit..

Oh I forgot to mention that my first Co-driver was a druggie and no criminal background. I left him at Memphis the Co put him in a truck, a few weeks later he pulled into brownsville,tn scales; the officer got on his running board and the driver laid his joint in the ashtray, yessir another real genius without a record.Rollover the Original Thanks this.

I can't believe anyone would drive down the highway smoking a joint. If the guy pulled into a scale smoking a joint then he should be thrown under the jail. I hope he enjoyed the career that he had because he is not likely to ever find a driving job again.
Rollover the Original Thanks this. -

Just for the record I wasn't fired I was hospitalized after the cowoard attacked me from behind in front of 12 wittness, I spent 8 days in a comma, I now have a siezior condition that prevents me from driving trucks, his biggest complaint was he wanted me to slow down because he couldn't keep up, and the new guy was making him look bad. And if I was wrong then why did he spend an extra 10 months in jail for the attack on me? And why can't he work in the oil field in Fort Worth anymore?http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/images/smilies/roundies/biggrin_25523.gif
