Oh really? I assumed since most places out of state require you to get your permit prior to attending, I thought you had to test in your home state as well.
Good info to know, I appreciate it! I will look into them! -
My instructor at Trainco has 38 years exp.
-
That doesn't mean any thing it is how he teaches the class and what you get out of it Mine was a truck rodeo champ more than once also at least a million miler
-
And he still did not teach very well, how did everyone else in the class do and feel about this instructor.
-
Are you talking about my instructor or yours because there were 4 of them and I was talking about the head one and this is not an arguement here
The owner booked to many in my class and there was problems so it isn't who is the best because we went to to differant ones -
WTH I was not trying to argue with you I just asked a question, but you do sound like a very bitter person and your always down about everything. Do me a favor don't reply to anymore of my post so I don't have to read your whinning about what hasn't went right for you, look at yourself in the mirror and try to figure out why your not happy it might make you a better person in the long run.

Sorry as I was trying to say the class sizes at the one I went to were bigger then were told the pushed people through
Twiztid_Trucker Thanks this. -
Basically CJ, a high student to teacher ratio is not a good thing, you want a low one, say like 4:1 because should you start to have issues, you are more likely to have some one on one time in a smaller class. This is why most people recommend staying away from those "CDL Mills" because they are there to push you through, and should you fall behind, they will drop you like a bad habit.
This is all good information, and I doubt you would want to start in this industy being pushed through the training. I've said it before, experience doesn't not mean educated, the instructor could have 2 million miles behind them, doesn't mean they know how to teach. I've done computers for 15 years now, and I couldn't teach anyone to do what I do, I've tried, it doesn't work for me because I haven't the patience for it.
Lil May has been most helpful in the subject of Trainco, at least for me, because I will be paying cash for my training, and I don't like throwing away my money with little return.
This is only my opinion CJ, but you are the one coming across negative.lil may Thanks this. -
Twisted how am I coming acrossed Neg if anyone has been neg it's been Lil May, my class size has only 4 people so it is a 4:1 ratio and I understand about just because you have 40 years and 3 million miles that does not make you a good instructor. I don't understand where in the hell I am coming acrossed neg I see Lil May on a lot of different posts from a lot of different people on here, and she is 90% of the time neg about the subjects posted if there was a way to block her I would because she is the one that's neg about things not me.
