I'm running a Koolatron 40B (I think). Its the one that has a refrigeratoor door and light. So far I'm impressed and I give it a thumbs up. If you can find one at a Loves or Pilot, the price with rebate beats anything online. I paid over $200 with shipping on Amazon because I couldn't find any. Now I see them all the time go figure lol!

I have been using a Coleman for about 10 years, (grey cooler with white top) it will freeze my drinks too, when I use the AC, on really hot days I will buy a bag of ice and put it in large zip-lock bags and lay them on top of my food, never had any problems, if I did, most truckstops have replacement parts.

I used a Igloo Koolmate 36 all day every day for years. Carry spare power cord, spare fuses, and monitor it. I had one or 2 power cords melt and fuses pop during use.

I got one of those large digit indoor/outdoor digital thermometers. I put the outdoor probe inside the cooler so I could see quickly if the cooler stopped working before my food went bad.

I also got an AC adapter so I could run it in a hotel during layover and pre-cool the cooler while at home. Coolers are pretty good at keeping cold/frozen food cool. They suck rear-end at taking warm stuff and making it cool.

Also, practice changing the fuse on the truck fuse panel that protects the cab/sleeper 12 volt outlet. The cooler's fuse should blow first, and it does most of the time, but sometimes the truck power outlet fuse will pop.
