No... trucking in general is moving into a more regional sort of model.

Well that depends on how you look at things. On the lease side its all about gross revenue, not miles. Seven short runs at $600 to $800 per is around $4200 to $5600 in revenue per week. With short miles, you won't have a big fuel bill either. That in my book, is pretty good.

I do too. He's one of the better dispatchers. What did you do to piss him off? Maybe you should talk to him about it.

    Sure doesn't sound like it.

More problems... and your fuel bill is huge from the idling. Better get in the shop and get that all taken care of now. That could be part of the problem... you have a ton of mechanical issues, plus a preventable.

I like our FM.... It not burger king you cant get it you way... love his way of looking at things...And yes short hops are great... but not when you are waiting and sitting all weekend with nothing. Bc Fm says there are no loads... WE never get 7 short runs.. when hes up in the NE we are lucky to get a 900 pay for the week...if that... and its after truck payment and all the fixed cost. im not a fan of the NE at all..

What kind of fuel mileage are you averaging? Or better yet, what is your fuel cost per mile?

Have you guys taken the ACE-II course yet?

Sorry if it sounds like I'm complaining about Prime. I'm not. I've made some pretty good money here and Cody has treated me great. I've been here for alittle over 2 years and when I started here I thought they were a long haul 48 state company. Well I now know they do a lot of regional. Unless you run team. I dont mind the regional runs expect for the northeast. I live in Arizona for a reason, to get as far away from the northeast as I can. Regional rates have been going up. Last week for line haul rev alone I averaged $1.36. Only bad thing lately has been the appt times. Taking up too much of my time. Will be going back to the shop to get everything fixed. I wasnt worried about the apu much thinking I was getting a co-driver soon.

and that preventable was not on me. I was standing on my step grabbing my bag to go inside for a shower when the driver parked next to me didnt look in her mirror when she was pulling out of the parking spot.
