Don' worry. Once a thief and an arse wipe always will be! He'll go back to what he knows how to do and this company with no one in charge because if they were would never have hired a moron and a thief or even considered a VP position!
What do they teach in college these days? Especially the Human Resources classes? Maybe they missed that class being hung over or something?

I believe alot of this dates back to when I was in College. There were things discussed about it then and ethics were never in the picture. It was about the individual and how to make the most at whatever cost.

I was looking for a company to lease on to around Dallas. Anyone know if Truepoint is good to work for?

My sister while working on her Masters in Business caught something about a non credit/points class on preventive management. She went to the 2 hour class and she was pretty impressed with it as it covered this same situation. We were just talking about it as she was reading over my shoulder. How many students ever take a non points/credit class at college? I didn't even know there were any but they are given by teachers who know these things need to be "discussed" where the college doesn't.
My daughter in Phoenix just sent me her home work assignment for this week as I still help her and it actually gives me a lot of insight into "things" which also keeps me from being bored to death! This weeks lesson is actually on morals and ethics in business and how it can effect a company!
I'll start my home work assignment this evening after she gets home from work as we Skype as we do "homework," and I think I'll let her read this thread as an example! It does pretty much work it's way into this lesson. I also get to see the granddaughters every day! Gotta love new technologies and the free ones at that!
Morals in trucking? Wonder about the BFI Award? If half of these company had any morals, TTR would not have a "Bad Company" thread! -
Interesting to say the least since I was referring to my time in college during the "last century".
In fact the latter part of the 70's. -
ROFL! Yeah things do change don't they?
My sister actually went back to college in her late 20s which was the late 80's at Colorado. I have a picture somewhere of her pulling her hair out because she had to take a calculus class. I was broke down visiting her and sitting at her apartment as they did an inframe on that old POS 6V92 Detroit!
She made it through and graduated but the funny thing is she never had to use half of what she studied! It makes me wonder when this recession/depression is over and she gets back on her feet if half of what she learned will be applicable any more?
Heck, I wonder if what students are learning today is applicable either! -
I spent my college years in the accounting specialization. Much of it will never change. Only the rules from the government.
I have seen many cycles of the economy and this one has been going on since 2005. It was a steady drop and then the bottom fell out.
Some parts of the country has no problem. Others are just wiped out.
I would hope that what is being taught is strong enough to help them in the future. But, like you said, who knows.
Interesting that they have to teach morals and ethics anymore. I was raised with a very strong sense of it.
