Haven't seen that before... but maybe it was a 25 year old trailer?
-
Maybe it was a 53' with the tandems all the way back. A load of bud on the ground............no great loss.
groundpounder Thanks this. -
>>>>Free beer
I used to play in a band called Free Beer back in the day in Baltimore, always looked cool on the marquees!

His trailer was spec'd for light beer?
Big Duker, goodchoice10, T-RIX and 5 others Thank this. -
It was a 53 non spread, axel too the dot bumper, musta been old trl, dont know, looked like a new trl , in the news, all chrome wheels and everything, just a case of bad luck .

I have seen a number of current and former US Xpress trailers break in half in the middle. Two in the Houston area the last few months. One was a current and one an older one pulled by an OO. I have seen news on the web of a couple more.

Why do drivers run their tandems all the way back??
I've seen some ghetto guys saying that it's because it rides SMOOV.
Nothing like not being able to get around anywhere without whacking your tandems on everything... -
Mayby becuse there used too running for the postal service as the way they run theres all the way back, or mayby they got used too running doubles , but anyway. i'm thinking the forklift driver who loaded that trl, wasnt paying much attion, as too more bounce in the middel of trl, wouldnt that be a sight, the forklift under the trl, sitting in the middel of the trl on the ground, i guess the driver would have too pay for new drawers for forklift driver, cause they be full after he landed too the ground, i couldnt imange the bill for that too lift that trl high over the forklift too get him out , it would take 2 giant wreckers for sure, that be a big bill, all becuse he failed his pre trip on trl, hum,

Thinkn maybe someone tried to cut thru the floor for some hooch during a overnight stop if he had one?shoulda caught that on the pretrip though-criminals do some crazy ##### to make a buck or for drugs.
