Just talked to a recruiter (Guy) and filled out an online application. Would be a student.
Any info on the trucks such as APU's, can I put fridge, etc in it?
What age/kind of trucks do they have?
They keep the trucks in good shape?
How about miles?
Any FFE info?

Yes you can put in a 12v fridge. I dont think they went to APU's. They run freightliners and International from what I been told.
-
i have seen a few apu but those where on the presidential fleet and a driver i went to school with got one but it was always down and they didnt care to fix it the trucks have the opti idle system wich if u can get used to it its not bad the trucks have the 12v socket where the fridge goes hope that helps

do they allow inverters?
-
when i was there yes the shop would do it if they felt like it or some drivers did it themselves been a while this was back in early 07 so i dont know

APU's are few and far between.
Mostly on lease operator trucks.
Yes, you can have an inverter.
Opti Idle is no different than the reefer starting and stopping to me.
YMMV.
New freightliner cascadias are coming in.
07 and 08 trucks are being replaced.
They fix what is broken.
Even out on the road.
I have gotten average 2800 miles a week for last month.nascarchuck, fancypants and biker dave Thank this. -
Would you recommend their lease purchase program? Know any drivers that are LP drivers that I could talk to.
-
Can anyone tell me about FFE rider program?
-
I leased on to FFE i would highly recommend you look elsewhere, these people tell you every kind of lie you can imagine, aas far as lease puchase forget it, not just with this foul company but with any company. i know of no one that has ever completed a lease puchase with any company, If you really must do a lease then lease a ryder or penske rental and use one of those as your own remember all the money is wasted on a lease purcahse you do not get the tax advantage you would from a actuall purchase, 1st get your own authority then go to your local banker and borrow the money to buy a truck, but as far aas anything to do with FFE i woud definatly forget it i would not recommend that company for anything not even company diving. I went with John Christner, they have plenty of miles and I did make a good paycheck on my first settlement. However they have not started taking out for the truck yet, so time will tell. I did get into a truck that is not driver friendly and has poor fuel mileage averaging 5.1 as the best I can get with it. Load planning is pretty darn good. Mileage is good, just make sure you pick a truck that does not have a cat in it. I would recommend getting into your own truck also if you can swing it. Lower payments and your the boss.
