So I just finished my first OTR trip went to TN,GA,IN,IL,and back home to IA what a long week.It was a little hard at first getting shifting right, lane control and getting used to hauling full loads and tarping was a pain but other than that I'm getting a lot better and can't wait to get done with trainer and get my own truck.

Take it slow and learn all you can. I suggest taking notes and not trying to remember everything. I have notes that are 20 some years old. From good places to eat to tricks I was taught. With computers now you can have files on items of everything that might interest you on the road. Good luck.
