Is your wait time for your trainer counted as training pay?

 

Yes you are 300 a week and 250 for orientation

 

Is it safe to assume that is gross pay?

What is the cpm for newbies, after training is completed?

 

A student without any other driving experience is .30 cpm. Straight from the recurting office. If you have any verified driving experience, your cpm will be more as your years of experience.

I talked to BarJohn's better half, Things are going to get better for him now lol, Kinda told him Who, and what to say it too and it worked he is in route to Oregon right now and then home to Cali.

Looks like there is some major shaking going on in the office those of you who work here got the QC Message about the OPs Director lol, Things are getting better and I laugh as the message was confusing as all hell to me. It could have been just me and being a driver I was born confused.

All Joking aside I will put this out there for you all to think about and take it for what it is worth,

BE aware of where you are and who is following you at all times, I spoke with the Gentleman who was robbed. He was robbed in Joplin, Mo at the Petro after withdrawing money from the ATM he was followed outside, figuring that the person following him was a driver he thought nothing of it. When he went to get into his truck he had a gun shoved in his back, they took his money and threatened his life.
Just so you know he is not new to the industry he has 16 years of OTR and never had any issues like this before.

Ok barjohn I told them you did not and David won't get pissed at you.. this is one is on me. I am looking out for the best interest of all Drivers so this does not happen to anyone else.

 

Well, got up early this morning and made it to the airport 2hrs early. So while I was waiting at the gate to catch my flight, I decided to check my bank account to see exactly how much money me and my wife had to work with. Well I check the account and we have 30 #### dollars! Someone somewhere at 2 am this morning bought $400 worth of stuff from wally world.com! I was distraught.... After fighting to no avail with sorry ### capital one I called my parents as I didn't know what else to do. I had to board the plane in less than 30mins. Well my parents came through for me. They rushed to the airport and gave me enough money to get me through orientation and the first month of training easy. If it weren't for them I don't know what I would have done.

Anyways I made it to the Denver airport and took a shuttle van out to Evans, co to a hotel 2 miles from greeley, co. And that's where I sit now, drinking gatorade and watching tv.

The dreaded ergo test is in the morning so I decided to eat lite and lay off the salt for tonight, no coffee or cigs in the am either.

I got a flyer stating that JBS benefits start as low as $162 per month for a family of 4. Does anyone have any experience with this? Also, who is the carrier and are they PPO? Thanks!
