Well I've hauled a few loads off a chipper and timber from a landing and had a some overloads. But trucks I drove had scales on them. Even the old ones we would hang a chain from the frame next to the axles,works quite well. Came home from work more than a few times with chips in my pockets.![]()

In Texas the shippers are making drivers take illegal overweight loads. That HEB trucks are now on the Texas DOT list to weight all HEB trucks, that Texas DOT thinks all these HEB trucks are overweight.
