Unavoidable overweight's

    Well I've hauled a few loads off a chipper and timber from a landing and had a some overloads. But trucks I drove had scales on them. Even the old ones we would hang a chain from the frame next to the axles,works quite well. Came home from work more than a few times with chips in my pockets.:)

    Ya Ive hauled scrap. An Logged for 8 yrs. Ya try an get close to legal. Hell came into yard hauling 150 feet of someoes tv/ph cable. WOOPS. cut that an turned it in for scrap.CSA aint nothing but a star war scam.State laying off Cops,teachers, firemen,roads going unrepaired. So they can implement CSA. NO

    In Texas the shippers are making drivers take illegal overweight loads. That HEB trucks are now on the Texas DOT list to weight all HEB trucks, that Texas DOT thinks all these HEB trucks are overweight.

    This would be quite surprising if it's true, seeing as Texas was one the first states to go after receivers for accepting overweight loads. Continental Grain paid one heck of fine in the '80s; big enough that the big elevators wouldn't let you unload if your ticket was more than just a hair over 80K. As a Texas company, HEB would be well aware of this, and unlikely to put themselves in such a spot. Unless, of course, they're overrun with these newly minted MBAs who wouldn't find their rear with both hands and directions. Then I might just believe they'd be so foolish. :biggrin_25525:
