If you get an android phone you can use it as a wifi hotspot so you will have a phone and technically an aircard all in one lol

I have a Droid, when i turned the hotspot on and connected it to the computer it says you have to pay $20/month for that feature, so i just use each seperatly lol

    Well this blows :biggrin_2559:

I got a message from the Dalton Terminal as i was leaveing the 1st stop this morning, "Drop n Hook at mohawk, take it to Dalton, and wait for the 3rd Taylor load leaving around midnight, MUST BE THERE WITHIN 12 HOURS OF BEING LOADED!!!!!" So I said yep I can Get it there.

Then I get to the Final stop, the guys were awesome worked straight through his lunch break to unload me.

    Then I get a load from dispatch...:biggrin_2554: so I sent a message "i already have a load drom dalton....which one do I do???lol"

she says "do the one i sent"

:biggrin_2553:This one only goes to just north of Charlotte NC to deliver either tomorrow or the next day.....like NO miles on it vs. the other load was long and a straight shot:biggrin_2553:

    Oh well, sheet happens :biggrin_2557:

So i get to the shipper, its suposed to be a D & H....they say nope its a live load:biggrin_2553:, so i ask how long till i get a door, she says about 2 minutes. So im thinking ok shouldnt be to bad......NOPE! They she comes back out while im STILL fighting the #### tandems, and says "oh they just said they wont get to you for like 5 hours... but you can A. Stay and Wait or B. Drop it, and call this phone number and come back and get it when its loaded..."

So thats what i did im at the TS 300 yards away:biggrin_2553: Oh well, bad day for $ today, Bad day for $ tomorrow.

AT&T and Verizon both charge $20 for the hotspot and it's limited to 2GB. Sprint is still included in the unlimited but good luck with coverage.

ya thats what i use. works great.

I tried verizon's hotspot feature on my droidx .. it was horrible. constant disconnects.. like every 3-5 minutes. (although.. it was nice giving both laptops net with no cables. err, when it worked.) do not recommend.

The only reason why I stick with my windows phone is because of the wifi abilities. I used pda.net until htc made their own wifi app. As long as I have the data connection established before I try to use the wifi it works just fine. Sprint has never said anything yet and I go way over 5gigs a month. I am also on a sprint sero plan that is only $50/mo for 1200 min and unlimited data and all the other goodies.
