They will get you back home and if u decide to come back they will get you back to orientation. JBS seems to be a pretty stand up company so far from what I have seen.

LOL!! I know. I don't know what I was thinking, but there is a thread where the driver said that his company did not pay workers comp.

Where are the terminals, or drop locations, in Central California, if any?

I've been reading this thread for awhile and figured its time to put in my 2 cents. I've been with JBS for 18 months and have been a Green Bay regional driver since last August. The regional thing was going good up until around Feb. of this year. Our miles have been way down mostly because JBS likes to keep its outside carriers like FFE busier than their own drivers. The turnover for the Green Bay Region has to be way over 100%. They increased our cents per mile pay but they took away a few other things in the pay package. They also took away Deadhead pay when coming back to Green Bay and you are scheduled for some time off. So if i take a load to Chicago for a delivery on Friday and there isnt a load going up to Green Bay that day , which there hardly ever is, I get paid for driving 200 miles when i actually drove 400. They dont have the miles and loads for the drivers on the Green Bay Regional Fleet yet they continue to add drivers to the region. I'm thinking about going back to OTR with JBS but wanted to be home more wknds to spend time with my son. So if anyone is thinking about coming to work at JBS 's Green Bay fleet I wouldnt do it, You will not be happy. Sometimes I think this company could screw up a 1 car funeral procession. But i'm still here, I guess I still have a little faith that things will get better but i'm running out of patience. Thanks for your time, and Hello to foxfire, met you in Waseca,MN a few weeks ago, I have the KW that sits lower on the right side.

Sitting in Houston at the Flying J. pull in and park, Didnt have the truck fully stopped and this guy comes up to the window, told me he was a fellow JBS driver, had a U joint go out, was waiting on breakdown to get back to him and was wondering if i could loan him $20.00. I asked him what terminal he was out of, Waco Tx he said. So me being me i had to see how far this would go. i asked him what he thought about the new cpm increase, his responce was that he liked it, then i asked how much he was up to. 45cpm he said. and benifits that where lost? a little pissed he stated. then i asked when did they open a terimal in Waco? last month was the responce, then a lite bulb must of gone off in his said . all of a sudden he came clean. said he was looking for hand outs, gave him a buck for effort.
