Pumaman, He is officially known as Boy George... Nice to meet you at the class, I'd be real interested to learn if SNI works out...

Pumaman, Good luck with the interview!!! It was a pleasure to meet you in person too.
-
I start orientation with Schneider on Wednesday August 3rd! Four days later I'll hit the road with a trainer for a week, and then I'll team up with someone and begin hauling.
-
Is it required that you team? If so, for how long?
-
Please PM me and keep me posted on Schneider experience...Last edited by a moderator: Aug 12, 2011

Pumaman, congratulations!!! Let us know everything, because it appears we'll be following you...
-
You have to start as a team driver, and they ask that you do that for at least six months. I was told they give teams 5000 to 6000 miles a week and keep them out for two weeks at a time.
-
I am not sure I like that... I was hoping to be solo.
-
It's not so bad, maybe you and our new classmate can team up! haha...
-
Yes, that was my preference as well, but they want you to get seasoned a bit before they let you out on your own. You can apply for a solo position in six months and if you didn't have any problem as a team driver then I'd guess your chances are good they would let you make the switch.
