I guess with everyone posting under the DAC section, this thread fell to the wayside. Couldn't stand to see that. Prime has always been on the first page of "Discuss Your Favorite Trucking Company Here" and usually near the top. Be safe Prime drivers!!!

I keep forgetting this thread is here lol I use the other one, too many morons invade this page. Got a chance to try out backing a Pete with a flatbed. A lot different than driving a Cascadia w/ a reefer, but not really any harder. I really enjoyed the experience.

A lot of drivers who don't have what it takes to be successful at Prime end up at FFE... like that skunktruck guy... who couldn't manage to make things work at FFE in two tries either.

You cannot have a turnover rate above %100...just sayin.

Actually you can exceed a 100% turnover rate. That means a company that has (lets say) 1000 drivers in 1000 trucks could churn through more than 1000 drivers per year. This is how the industry measures turnover. Every new recruit that goes through orientation and is placed in a truck is in fact taking a former drivers "spot."

The mega carriers routinely hire thousands of drivers per year just to keep their trucks moving.

    Unless you're expanding.

OTOH, we tend to have a pretty high washout rate from student orientation. We probably send those loosers to YOUR carrier!
