389 headlights

Is this 1BL 005 380-021 light an HID or a regular headlight? How much does it cost in $? Is there any modifications need to be done to install one on a 379 Pete with rectangular headlights? Thank you.

 

It is available for HB4, H1, H3 ore H7 bulb, halogen, but conversion HID may easily be used. according the law for HID projector shield must be changed to put less light on road sholder, but who does it. HID versions are available too, for D2S bulb.

If I understand wright the 1BL 005 380-021 is a low/hi beam light with a 3-wire connector, and the 1KB 006 277-051 is a hi beam only with 2-wire connector.

 

we use to change wiring, outer lamp - low beam + marker light, inner - hi beam

 

seems to me it cant be done... I'm in Europe. And I sugest EU lamps are not available in US and you have to purchase it by internet.

Why do I use Hella headlamps... the answer is simple, they are used on some Ukrainian Bogdan buses and on class 6-7 Kamaz Trucks so they are available here.
