Thanks I will keep this saved..I still plan on applying with them but right now I am helping a friend out who got seriously injured and cant drive his truck for awhile so to help him and his family out I am keeping the truck rolling while he recovers and dont loose everything he invested..My name is Thad Rice I will let you know on here once I send an application in to them.. -

I work for Millis now and I don't make enough. I have applied at other companies and one called Millis and all of a sudden I finally get 2600 in a week. Amazing how that works. I NEVER turn down a load and take what others will not I still only get 2000 (MAYBE)

way to bring back a dead thread. last post almost a year ago. Maybe if you want more miles you should ask for them or explain your situation to your dispatcher. I see you havent been driving for long so maybe you need to prove yourself to your dispatcher so they trust you with more loads.

I have asked and asked but still no. And I have been driving sense I could reach the accelerator. My dad passed away in 09 and I stopped driving for a while. I ran his log trucks. oh and its not just me that is not getting miles or get loads that were due "yesterday" and then get written up for a late load.

I'm just about ready to fill out an app and send it in, then I read this post.
Anyone who has been driving for Millis for awhile care to comment on this driver's situation?
Just want to be sure if I abandon ship here I'm not getting into another boat with a hole in it it...thanks -
Drivetill i did not mean your personal driving experience. I was talking about your work with Millis. Maybe your dispatcher doesnt know you or maybe you pissed them off. there could be hundreds of reasons. -
My impression is that this is a BS topic started by someone just trying to get a rise out of ya'll. Look at the last post.....it has all of the hallmarks of some DB trying to start something. Furthermore, his first post was only his second TOTAL on this entire board....that says a lot also. Next, why would someone hijack a thread that has been inactive for 6 months or more.... if his complaint were legit, he would have started his own. And finally, although I've heard a complaint or two from othet drivers (primarily about a particular, singular event), I have never heard ANYONE complain about miles. My trainer and I exceed 3,000 a week and rarely wait pn a load. As a matter of fact we are currently waiting for about 3 hours for a load to finish loading here in beautiful, scenic Neena WI, this is the first time this has ever happened.
As an aside, if you're sitting on the fence because you're unsure if the miles / pay will be enough, you need to remain on the fence..... nothing in life is guaranteed.... might want to get used to the idea sooner than later.
Peace -
I just wanted to hear if this the person who posted about not getting the milles was something others were experiencing
Dip, I appreciate your experiences with the trainer and all, I don't appreciate your adviced on life tho...that wasn't needed
Training time is different than when you get on your own
Just trying to find out all the facts before I make the jump, that's the reason people get on these forums to begin with....to gather info
