Alcohol and cigarettes kill more people daily than anything else. If Industrialists didn't make money off of them, they would not be legal. Unfortunately, laws are made by Industrialist millionaires in office, like Bush/Cheney (who are most likely billionaires by now).

But its perfectly legal to drink and drive as long as you don't get caught and blow cigarette smoke in every building entrance in America infecting the over 15% chemical sensitive population from engineered addictive tobacco.

Law does not make it rightious, it just shows there's easy money to be made by ruthless Industrialists making laws in the interests of profit.

I agree with you completely. I am very pro-marijuana. It seems ridiculous to me that cigarettes are legal, and we pay government money to subsidize the tobacco farmers, and marijuana is not legal. People don't smoke marijuana and then beat their wife and kids like they do with alcohol. It isn't addicting like nicotine. It doesn't seem right to me that a trucker can spend his weekend drinking tons of alcohol but can't smoke. Even though the traces of marijuana are present in your system weeks later, you are not still impaired. Marijuana has proven health benefits, alcohol and tobacco do not.

Why should it matter what substance you chose to partake in on your days off? As long as you are 100% sober when you drive, your off days should be yours.

OK while I do not condone drug use in any way shape or form and I believe that your body only works as well as what you put in it just like that rig you are driving. Here are a few facts about drug testing your hair and yes there is a difference between a drug screen and a drug test.

First your body hair can be tested for drugs but since your body replaces it body hair on a regular basis there is no chance that the weed you smoked in 1975 is going to get you busted.Second the drugs get trapped in your hair and grow out over time so with every haircut one would be erasing that point in time almost like a time capsule.Third to test the hair they wash it first to get rid of external factors. Like you just happened to be in the room but never inhaled like our ex-president then that would not make you fail a test either.

I hesitated to post any of this because I do not want to help drug dependent people in any way. I believe if you are trying to clean up your act you have enough things to worry about and enough obstacles to overcome and honest information will get you back on the right track. The abuse you put your body through extended periods of time will come back and get you (Smokers are you listening)after all your body is a machine.:iroc:

Well, let me back up a little here. Now, while referring only to a hair follicle test (based off the test I've used in the past), when I said that the screener couldn't error, I meant the person taking the sample. But, after thinking about it for a while, it was possible to taint a sample. However, if one paid attention to their job, took a good sample, placed it in a sterile container immediately, and got it sealed properly, the likelyhood for error was almost non-existant. As for how the lab tested the sample, I couldn't vouch for that. I wasn't a lab technician.

As a drug screener, if I felt a screen had been compromised by me or altered by the person taking the test, I would do it again. It was up to me and the people I trained to do the screenings right. After all, it's someone elses job on the line.

There are many different drug screening packages out there. I only know about the ones I've used in the past. I hope that clears up things.

What are you talking about? Fun can be had without the use of illegal drugs. Lots of fun can be had as one of the sober ones in the room.
