Right, I saw that, so why are you saying he doesn't? Are you with an agency who revoked his license? I can't imagine any other way you'd know that if it were accurate.

TN does not have a concealed gun carry permit, we have a handgun carry permit, it does not have to be concealed.

 

Ok, so he used incorrect terminology. No need to call him out on it like he's lying. In researching my CHL here in Texas, after having one from Wyoming that I've had for years, I was amazed at how many different phrases and acronyms are used to describe pretty much the same thing.

 

Gawd I wish I were better on a keyboard,I have so many opinions and questions on this topic,but my basic question is,WHY does anyone think they NEED to carry a handgun?

Now,I'm sure some of the cowboys will come back with some stories,but,O.K.,I have been doing this 7 years,been to more than a few bad places,and I have NEVER missed having a handgun in the truck.

Intelligence and common sense go a long way,and really,if you are in that tin can called a truck,a machine gun IN THAT TRUCK will NOT help you much if someone wants you dead...

Really,if you are that insecure,convince yourself you are an ex- Navy Seal,as there are many out there already,(I hear them all the time) and with your mixed Martial Arts knowledge,and your tenacity to survive,surely,you will be just fine...

There is a long story behind why it's called a handgun carry permit instead of a concealed carry permit.
