Glad to hear everything is going good for you too. Sounds like you and Vmaggs are having a good time. I received my package from Crowder and Conway yesterday and everything is good to go for September 26th. Keeps us up to date, I know I am jealously and somewhat patiently waiting my turn.

Awesome job ! Your gonna love it once u get out on the road. I'm running into a snagg with my trainer. I have
Been tolerant of his lack of hygiene:biggrin_2552: but he's crossed the line one to many times with his temper, waiting on Sally to see if I can get a new one. This does not reflect on the majority of trainers but just hope u don't get one like mine. Other than that I've logged a out 5000 miles so far , getting to know Texas very well. Once again congrats!:biggrin_25519:

There is NO reason for not being clean with CWTL.
Terminals have showers and towels. Fuel stops have showers, if don't have the credits, pay for it, CWTL will reimburse it.
Trainers are suppose to set a example, preferable a positive one.

    Vmaggs,

I feel for you, especially considering the close quarters you have to live and operate in. I may have a touch of OCD where hygiene is concerned. Don't get me wrong, I like rolling up my sleeves to get the job done and getting dirty comes with the territory but I don't want to stew or sleep in my filth if I can help it. I can only hope that my trainer will have the common curtsey and self respect to have the same mindset.

You're getting close now, continued good luck to you.

Thanks crazy, he finally relinguished to wear socks:biggrin_25521: with his unlaced workboots. We had a major blowout today but after I laid it all out for him he chilled out and is rethinking his lack of hygene skills. Kinda a feel sorry for him but like Mustang said there really is no excuse, worse case scenario you skip a day but at least I change my clothes, brush my teeth etc...I know he's the exception to the rule but unfortunately my evaluation will be a scathing one:biggrin_25516:. I think I'll just stick it out and by next week I should be cruising by myself. Other than that all the people I have met at all the terminals and stops have been great:yes2557:..... well with the exception of a few characters but thats expected, unfortunately I have seen first hand why the public might have an unfavorable impression of truckers, still doesn't mean we have to be one of them:biggrin_255:. You'll be pleased that it's a decent company to run for,I wouldn't change anything and I'm still psyched to get out on my own.

Hearing and reading so many good things about Conway is what drove my decision to go with them. I am so looking forward to this career change. I wanted to go through a training program that seems to be so much better than some of the other three week wonder courses (Crowder). Another selling point is the fact that the finisher rides right seat throughout your training. The switch over to teaming after XXX amount of time based on the trainers integrity just seems like a system that would be abused for the all might dollar. While I am not fooling myself into thinking that Conway is Holy Grail of trucking companies, it's nice to hear so many good things about them from the people that drive for them. Hopefully my experience will be as good.

Thanks vmaggs, hope everything works out with your finisher.

Finished our final drive today all went well. Got pretrip to do tomorrow then it's back to Joplin to finish up and get a finisher.

I tell you both John and R.C. At crowder are awesome. they will give you lots of good knowledge and information you'll take with you.
