Automatic trucks??????

If you would of done your research on here, you would of seen there are many thread's on AUTOMATIC"S !!!

 

When USX started that, my first thought was what do you do if you get your training there and then want to go to another outfit, but don't know how to operate a 9/10/super10/13/etc...?

My opinion, for what it's worth, is learn to drive a real transmission or find another line of work. Quit looking for the easy way out. That's part of the problem with the industry today.

 

Hope to be fired before you wreck the transmission, I suppose. I think unsynchronized gearboxes should be an endorsement, personally.

 

I just hate those automatics... thought i would like them but first time i took my foot off the brake and it rolled backwards, man, that was it for me. Get me outta this thing PLEAse.

You mean tell me then, that you CAN teach an old dog NEW TRICK'S ?

 

Yeah, but you already know how to shift, so you're qualified.
