My biggest mistake. Leasing on to a friend I knew better but did it anyway First week I got stuck in florida. Now I'm fighting every week just to get paid. His wife does payroll and computer stuff he's not to computer savy. So the last straw was yesterday,I should have gotten about 2200.00 but was told it was gonna be about 1300.00 this was it for me I went over every trip and showed him every reimbursment and fuel purchase. Bottom line he knows he owes me but he's not paying so here I am in arkansas 650 miles from home and kicking myself for making such a stupid mistake. So my advice is stay away from Steve Adams trucking unless you like working for free

Tell him to pay or his truck may just wind up in a ditch.

his truck may just wind up in a ditch. :biggrin_25517: Great ADVICE .

Have a feeling when the OP noted HE LEASED ON , it was he LEASED his truck to his friend not a LEASE PURCHASE deal.

Big John and Shotsjc Thank this.

Just tell him that you're here to make money, you've already got friends.:biggrin_25517:

I got the same feeling. When i read the post by the OP. There's too many company drivers on here. and there trying to give advice about stuff they know nothing about.

There's a rule I use when it comes to friends, business and money. "friends are friends and business is business" need i say more! the op got taken. and this time around it was by a so called friend! in business sometimes you win some and some times you loose some. it's just the way it goes.

For the OP It's a hard lesson learned!

Just tell him that you're here to make money, you've already got friends And if the $ is good you can buy the FRIENDS you really want .
