Hello Everyone. Student driver just a bit over halfway through a 7 week course at Western Pacific Truck School in Sacramento. Found myself laid off in May with no job opportunities around. After some work with the unemployment office found I qualified for funding for trucking school. Looking forward to the challenges with a good bit of nervousness, hope I can get my backing skills up to acceptable levels in the next few weeks.
Currently have pre-hire letters from 4 places, will need to make a choice before too long.
Any tips and/or advice will be gratefully accepted.
Howdy from a newbie!

Welcome, clay. Good luck with the new career. The experienced drivers here at TTR have thousands of years of experience when you add them all together, so you've found a great place to help you with the transition.

In a terrible quandry at the moment. Have several pre-hire letters, Swift, Covenant and Werner, verbal pre-hire from May. and an application at Gordon. Ruled out Covenant as they only hire teams out of California. But it seems the more research I do, the less sure I am about which direction to go. How did you folks go about reaching a decision?
