my werner nightmare

    i recently graduated from truck driving school. after several months of looking for a local job, i decided to team up with my classmate and go team werner. we both got to orientation at the same time in allentown pa.
    after the physical, they sent him home to clear a heart murmer from his doctor . the 2nd day i got a call from my recruiter about a job reference that said i was terminated. i explained it to to her, and she said she understood. i left with a trainer who did a dedicated run from pa, to il for kellogs 748 mi . all was going good i was doing a great job. after 3 weeks of working 14hrs a day 11 of them driving, a message came in on the qual com to go to the teminal when we get to allentown. i questioned my trainer on what that could be for, and he said he would call and find out. he told me that team werner wanted to speak with me and put me with a 48 state trainer. when i got back to the terminal they sent me to saftey, i was on a conference call with the director jeff, and he question me about that reference from before. saying that i had worked there 17 mo, i said it was only 3 mo. i had my tax records with me to prove it. he wouldnt let me prove that i was right and got me a bus ticket home i was sadden that i did a good job and drove 5 to 600 miles of each trip for 47 dollars a day the trainer average about 1300 a week and hardley drove. now i have to deal with a dac issue for lying on a document, that might keep me from getting hire at another truckin firm.. im not sure which way to go from this point ,i do know that i dont want to go through that again. if a proffessionals have any ideas you oppinion would be appriciated thanks phil

    Werner is a BIG joke,they did that to someone I knew,send him home cuz of a speeding ticket that he got a year earlier which they knew about from the start!When you talk to the recruiters,they don't know s***t from adam,your app go's threw HR office while you are in orientation or if you not lucky,its seen after you get on a truck with a trainer.Werner does this all time its not first time,there other threads about this on this site about trucking companies sending people home for stupid reasons.Best think is to move on look for a another company and if comes up on your DAC that you where fired,you can have it wipe off but I think there a fee,that i'm not 100% sure about.

    Find a small local company to get experience, most don't recall DACs or care about them.

    Phil. Next time you decide to write something please try to add periods make paragraphs and just make it so it can be read!

    Ok, we all know that Warner is a BFI from Leathers down to the janitors.
    You had the proof they needed but the idiots in the building don't want real evidence they rather see it on a stupid monitor screen believing that HireRight/DAC never has wrong info even when they fill out their DAC reports on drivers with erroneous information themselves. Besides it would have taken a little more incentive and work for the moron to follow through with real legal evidence.

    I normally tell people that when having to mess with HireRight/USISS/Dac or whatever they are going by this year that when you file a dispute you write the report in clear and concise English. I always tell them not to mess with DacFix or whoever it is because all they do is what you do for free but they charge I believe almost $150.00 but in your case pay them because If they can't read and understand what you are attempting to tell them and looks like your post they will file 13 it and you'll never get that crap off your DAC report.

    BUT IF you decide to file the dispute on your own put that proof in with the form. If you have any other proof of your employment history add it to the file. If you can get that company that said you worked longer than you actually did then get them to write a notarized letter for you to add to the file OR have them send a copy to DAC OR get them to change the report with a note that they screwed up.

    If you do decide to do the simple writing on the form then PLEASE get someone with better understanding of grammar, spelling and proper sentence structure to fill the DAC report out to save yourself $150.00

    Don't think the grammer police don't exist. And a certain level of grammatical decorum is expected. Proper punctuation is appreciated. After all it's the difference between Helping your uncle Jack off a horse. or Helping your uncle Jack, off a horse
