123456 Thanks this. -
cranky...don't let one person sway your decision...
Platinum: several people have asked...are you 11 or 48? What terminal?
I have NEVER had any issue getting miles; In the last 2 days, I have been pulled off TWO 2200+mile trips because I have to get thru P-Cola to pick up a student. I typically gross $750-800+/wk, with a few $900-1000 weeks thrown in between
There has to be more to this story that you are not telling us...Dozzer6 Thanks this. -
P cola and the 48, who is your dm?
-
Platinum, How often do you come through P-cola? I'm looking at driving for May and live in NW Florida.
-
I never get through there because I live in Atlanta technically. And justasteeringwheelholder, Clearly you are reaching for something different than I have posted, I have offered every bit of useful information so stop trying to be paul harvey there is no rest of the story, I will show you my pay checks which show the dates of the deliveries and that you can see how many miles. I have had only 1800 miles this last 3 weeks or less. I was on vacation for one week, I have shared everything. I have met some senior drivers with MAY many years out of brooks and shared my concerns with them and everyone says its BS what I am going through. So if you want to find out more maybe you should call out who is dispatching this train. I just drive it as it comes to me!
-
That's my point exactly...it is BS...you are the only person I have talked to/heard of having these issues, especially in P-Cola!
The only reason I have been sitting at all, as of late, is to wait on cooridinating with getting thru P-Cola to pick up a student.
I cry like a little girl if I get less than 2600 in a week, and have yet to be charged for idle time. In July my idle time approached 40% for the month, yet NO CHARGE. You NEED to take the time to TALK to Rob. He is NOT the type to take ANY issues lightly, and prides himself and having the most driver friendly terminal in May, and I couldn't agree with him more. -
My issues have been addressed by rob personally, I have been refunded my idle charges. I am back.on track with May, and currently going by the terminal first time since I solo out. I made it very clear about idling temp outside including humidity. I don't think May is bad, I just think.there was a lack of miles and over looked idle charges, if I was getting 3k miles. Or more I honestly would not care about those charges but since I am floating 1700 last few weeks it hurts. I am on track for over 3k miles this week. Big improvement than sitting at a truck stop.counting how many times fuel.prices change in one day.

3400 miles as of monday two days from now, the key to success is your pta send in a least a day in advance preferably two run your butt off I've also been here over ayr

Last week, 2800 miles driven, misplaced one wo, and had to resent this week north 1400 miles. Will write more soon.
