How do they handle the State of Illinois (if you even know on this) then as it is one of the only states that makes you take the full written and driver skills test over again?? Hope all is well !!

4 to 6 months with a trainer...whooo weeee!! I know training is a good thing but was that a typo on the Prime website or is actually correct??
When you finish with your training do you have to L/O or is their company positions available?

You go out with an instructor for 75 hours of driving time, if you pass your pretrip test before you go out, if you dont, its 100 hours driving time, Then you stay out with a trainer for atleast 30,000 miles. If you have a good FM n run like a real team, should take about 6 weeks.... Im in the TNT phase now... You DO NOT HAVE TO SIGN A LEASE! Both my instructor and trainer are company drivers. Im goin to be a company driver. Spoken to a lot of company drivers...

I have a question? I talked to my recruiter today and he wanted to know when I wanted
to start orientation, I want to start soon but had a question about some medication I take
and he had no answer our advice for me. I hate to quit my current job get up there and find
out the meds disqualify me. Anyone else have any issues like this? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. -
Agree on lease part. I know plenty of company drivers. My own instructor is a company driver and said he'd never go lease. I also plan to go company.
But Illinois (and a couple other states) does require you retake the whole CDL test for some dumb reason.MarineNewRookie Thanks this. -
Heck, I know plenty of lease drivers...
This sure beats driving on the company side! -
Yes but you did it the right way. Get some miles as company driver , learn the ropes , watch the $ and make the switch when your ready.

And I get no credit for coming out of training in December, and leasing a truck 3 months later.
