just to remind what was original posted ,I've done this load many times, allways the same product, same peice count same amount of pallets, my gross is allways around 61k

If I were certain that I was not over weight, I would fight the ticket. But, you will need a certified scale ticket, such as CAT.

If you have a sign bol that acknowledges the freight was delivered with no shortages, you have a good piece of evidence in your favor that the load that was weighed was the load that was delivered.

I saw that, and understood what you were saying. However, if you had gone ahead and scaled the load, and had your weigh ticket etc, you probably would not have had the problem.
I'm not saying you should NOT fight it. But I am saying what the state will likely claim if you do. Personally, I believe in fighting any ticket you really feel you did not deserve.
I also believe in just paying the fine and shutting up on the ones you know you did deserve, but some folks will argue that point.
Just a difference of opinion.
But I am still surprised to see their scales off by that much.
