My first foray into hauling sand, gravel, etc; (quite a few moons ago) was just the opposite of present conditions. Struggled with wet and mud for months on end trying to hang on.
Now I have this idea of taking a look at some means of getting into oil field work and drought is taking it's toll.

I recently purchased a 98 pete 379 and leased to a sand hauling outfit out of weatherford. They want $9000 for pto, blower, and installation. Anyone know what the specs are on a blower for sand hauling, where I can pick one up, and how much I can expect to spend.....also any info on a pto would be great too.
Thanks, -
I can't help you on this but I know there are several threads on this if you search the forum. All blowers aren't created equal and blowers and trailers are getting harder to come by as the oilfields ramp up.stinerspecialtransport Thanks this. -
