My statement did not require former employment to make. He is justifying the negatives at Stevens. He admits the pay sucks, but rationalizes it by saying all companies pay low wages. Which of course is total bullschmidt.

I guess it's a matter of perspective.
In MY opinion, making less than 0.40/mile is low pay.
I'm not familiar with companies hiring new hires for that kind of money...are you?
Good pay, again in my opinion, starts above 0.55
So I still say...they all start you out low and work up from there. Some faster than others. It's just part of the dues you have to pay in this business, unless you are really lucky or married to the bosses daughter.venne Thanks this. -
i've heard when U go 2 stevenson school down in tx you need 2 get a tx cdl. i'm from co and we have a school called careers world wide that say they recurit
for stevenson. so I wonder what if I showed up in tx with a cdl A permit from colo or should I see if the school will test me for my colo cdl and still go 2 stevenson training school down in tx! -
You'll undoubtedly get a TX licsence and just get it transfered in CO.

The use of jakes in some states during wet/icy weather is illegal. Basic truck driving 101...plus it was on the written test for DMV, if I recall.
