How's the Economy Effecting You?

I'm single with only my mouth to feed, I do beee-otch about the price of gas once in a while but thats my fault for living in democrat infested upstate NY...

otherwise I'm just going with the flow..

Work wise, people have to eat and we haul foodgrade.....'nuff said

 

22 Years old single , making 1k+ each week and home every weekend. I think im doing very well for the time being.

 

It's AFFECTING me little to none, thankfully.

 

i'm doing better than ever financially and have a great opportunity to get into a house at way below market value. i would even like to post my personal financial sheets if i can get more cooperation in another thread in the EVERYTHING section.

i've actually had to turn work down because too tired too busy etc.!

However, money does not concern me right now as i have much bigger problems to deal with. Boy do i ever.........

I make ends meet, don't have any savings to worry about losing...so yeah, I'm doing OK

 

It's all good here. We haul mostly beer. So as long as people keep drinking we're good.

 

I have seen this recession/depression coming about 15 years ago. I used to ask people "how can they build all of these brand new huge fancy houses and businesses everywhere, how are people putting thousands of dollars on credit cards, aren't they worried about paying it all back?" Everyone I knew including myself were getting credit cards for $5 - 10 thousand dollar limits and people bought boats, RVs, motorcycles, etc. while working $8 per hour jobs.

I also asked how houses can increase so much in value every year, when is the limit they cannot increase forever... so it finally reached the limit and now we are owing all of the borrowed money. The real value of the stock market is 7000, I predicted the other stuff before and I predict the stock market is really at 7000. So we are all living how are are supposed to now, due to laziness and wanting life to be easy we are paying for slacking off.

To answer your question yes the economy is affecting me which is why it is time to change careers as no one is hiring in my city even though I am an expert in my field. I think that the medical and trucking fields are not impacted as bad as other industries that are not necessary or can be replaced with cheaper alternatives.
