Did they tell you to get off the truck for not following policy?

Sorry but you need to explain what happened in more detail.

Ok, I'm confused. If someone died I would assume you would need to go home immediately.

Anyway, they can put anything they want on the DAC. Not too familiar with how it works but I'm sure someone can tell you how to dispute it. If you search I believe there are many threads that deal with disputing the info on your DAC

If you want to spend the time and energy you can get things off your dac yourself. If you don't, there are many companies that will clean your dac for a price. Just one more reason you shouldn't have gone with england. Sorry for your loss and good luck getting that off your dac. It can be done.

Find a local job if you can, or a small local company that are hiring trainees. I drover for friends until I found a small local company because I refuse to take #### from a trucking company for two years just because.

Now most will say it's the insurance company's, but I don't believe that. The local company I went with put me regional first so I was home like two to three nights a week, but me and my family didn't like me being gone even that much, so after a month or so, I got hired with another local company doing local work, but when I went to quit the first company they offered to make me local if I stayed so I stayed. Pay is good.

Now I have just accepted another job with a local company that is not a trucking company, but still driving a Class A vehicle and they are paying me over 50 grand a year and I'm home every day or night whichever.

Also I need to add that I did all this inside of 8 months of driving a Class A vehicle, not 2 years like everyone says including the trucking company's.

    sleepy15 Thanks this.

I'm so sorry you lost your Mother-in-Law. Profit is the only important thing in trucking, life takes a second seat to it.
