Not model specific, but my solution to rattles has always (as a last resort) been to stuff paper towels and/or cardboard into all the crevices until the buzzing/rattles stop.
In my experience, Volvos are by far the worst for this rattling/buzzing behavior, followed by Freightliners, then Internationals (usually very good), and finally Petes, by far the best, again in my experience.
Currently driving a Pete with over 450,000 miles on it, and NO rattling/buzzing! Best truck for build quality I have ever driven. I've had a couple of months in a Western Star, never drove a Mack, and can't really comment on them. Never really drove a KW, either (except a cabover for about 500 miles waaaay back when).
But, again, in my experience, I would rate an International just below a Pete in quality of build. -
You almost need a second person to drive while you look for the location of the rattle. Could be anything.

My company has 75 of these trucks and we were having problems with the fairing above the windsheild "Humming" Loudly going down the road at highway speeds.

ok with a little bit of creativeness and some self taping screws i thing i was able to fix the problems. thanks to everyone for their input.

it was the plastic piece that was over the window and it right above the top bunk support. i used some self taping screws to seperate the plastic from what ever it was rattling against behind it.

okay so it turns out that that did not fix it only made it worse it wasn't so loud but it was more persistent it's finally drove me out of my mind today so I walked over to walmart and got a product called great stuff. I have now shoved foam into every plastic on plastic surface and every crack that I could find. I'll let you guys know tomorrow if this actually works or not. I may need a second can but we shall see.

The most solidly built truck Ive ever been in was a Marmon. A Pete doesnt even come close.
Glad you got it fixed.
Correction: Hope the newest fix works.
