Clarification on forum rules

I've read the forum rules but have a question about rule number 2.


2. NO ADVERTISING. Promoting your website or businesses will result in your account being banned.


My question is can I let others know about my personal blog in my signature?


I've added the info below to help you make a determination.


I'd like to tell other about my personal blog in the signatures of my profile. I won't be doing any advertising on it nor will others be be required or asked to sign up to it be able to enjoy it.


I also believe that there will be some post I make on Truckers Forum some of my friends will want to read. I would like to link some of the post I make on Truckers Forum from my personal blog.


I'm 54. I was a truck driver from 1986-1988, for about 3 1/2 years. I ran team for almost 2 years and regional to Northeast from Ohio for 1 1/2 years. I left driving under good terms. I choose to quit to help raise my 3 children at that time. I went on to have 3 more and for 13 of the past 16 years I was a single parent.


Before driving semi I drove straight truck/trailer combo's for carnivals for 4 years and before that straight truck in Chicago, IL. I've lived in 12 different states over the years.


I've missed trucking the past 22 years. There's nothing like traveling the country for free. I've been to 48 states many times each. Yet there's plenty I still want to see and do.


I'm starting truck driving school on Monday. Have to go back to being a beginner. I will be posting in a few of the forums here on Truckers Forum and will also be posting on my personal blog for my friends to read. I believe many of the stories I post on my personal blog many user of Truckers Forum will enjoy. I don't want to post the same stories on 2 different site.


I'm getting ready to start posting on my personal blog. Categories won't show up until I make a post to place in them. A list of of the current categories I'll be using on my personal blog are below.
