Here is what we have contracts for:
Texas: pneumatic Frac Trucks, pumpers 7500 gal min. capacity - immediate start up need is for 30 trucks, to increase over the next few months to a few hundred. Also need Belly dumps. At least 50, with increases over the next few months.
Also
North Dakota: 5 belly dumps by Aug 14th, 3 more by Aug 17th, 5 more by 19th, 30 more at end of Aug, with increase of 30 every ten days until 500 is reached.
Will also be bringing on 50 D4, D5, or D6 Cats and 50 John Deere (used for example, any kind) 690D excavators, to come on after 30 days of start of project.
For the trucks in Texas, I can pay $700 per truck/driver, per day. Please the trucks will receive $200 on arriving and be paid $35.00 idle time. The contract is for two years with a two year renewal.
For North Dakota, the pay is better, I can pay $850 per day for the trucks. This is a five year contract.
Both contracts can operate 7 days a week if they have the drivers for them.
I am getting the prices for the heavy equipment.
No special regulations, no TWIC cards, any of those kind of issues.
I will have more details on the scope of work today.
Thanks
Ken

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
Looking for O/O's

I'm curious, For the Texas driver you qouted $700 per truck/driver. You must be referring to a company driver, right ? Otherwise your low balling o/o's with that figure. One company we have a contract with, we are getting $1500 a truck per day. That figure is on the low side.
otherhalftw Thanks this. -
Maybe it's for six hour days.
-
In North Dakota they are getting low side $90 per hour for a owner operator with out a trailer and $105 or better with trailer. Do $850 a day must only be short days.
Maybe they pay for fuel then truck gets the $850. That would be a ok deal. -
I had seen some quoting $120 per hour. It was my understanding that was for the truck only. Maybe they were not well informed.
-
So has anyone contacted this guy yet?
-
I would be interested in either the TX or ND work. To bad he did not leave an e-mail address.

Rookie trucker, I know time is short for everyone, but I sure would like to talk more about what you have going on in Texas. I am a contractor out in Iraq and I will be heading home soon and will buy a truck to work in the oil field. Chasing the O/O oil field dream if you would.
Any chance we could chat via e-mail one on one?
Thanks in advance,
Stilgar -
