National is an awful company, they abuse everyone they come into contact with from plant workers to drivers to suppliers!

i worked for them for 7 weeks, got promised the moon....instead i only got two checks the whole time i was there....you call in to talk to the people there and they tried to treat you like crap, and say it is wat it is,,,so after getting screwed out of my money im turning it over to my attorney, putting a labor lien on the truck, and trying to file a class action lawsuit...if any one out here is in the same boat i am let me know, to where we can get a lawsuit rolling

    P.S......DONT WORK FOR THESE THEIVE'S

I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one that went broke with them. I talked to everyone that I could in Liberal and Dallas and it was like blowing a stinky one. I didn't have my truck a month and was in Neveda to deliver at Wal-Mart and just barely got hooked back up to my trailer. I made it down to that fuel stop just down the hill from Wal-Mart and that was the end of my clutch. When I was in Dallas to get qualified to drive for them I was told before I got to Dallas that I was being qualified to drive a company truck. I'll tell you how underhanded they were. The last day of orientation they bring in a Lease Agreement to sign and I told them I was suppose to be getting qualified for company driver, well quess what they told me that if I didn't sign the Lease Agreement that they wouldn't hire me. I told them fine get me a bus ticket back home and they could find someone else to do a Lease Purchase. They told me that since I wasn't going to go to work for them I was responsible for my own transportation back home. I was stuck so I was forced into signing a Lease Putchase with them. I was given a sheet to mark down everything that was wrong with the truck and they told me right now the shop that they used was overbooked with repairs and they didn't have time to work on the truck. They offered me a load and said that if I didn't take the load I was refusing dispatch and I would go to the bottom of the board. Believe it or not I lasted a year but very rarely did I ever make a check with them. I lived off of my advances and that was it.

Nobody forced you into signing the share cropper program.
No company trk. available, Ok get a ride home. Via rental car airplane buss train etc.
Trk. not dot legal or safe, get it fixed. Yes you go to the bottom of the list seeing how your trk. is out of service and do not know when it will be ready. How hard is that to understand..??

Heck when I put my trk. in the shop while waiting on a ld. I even go to the bottom, unless I know it will be minor and then I wing it...

Ah, gees! For the price of a bus ticket? If you had asked me, I'd sent it to you....

    Sorry, son. Giant fail.
