After months of picking through every trucking company on the face of the earth it seems like I finally made my choice...Boyd Bros. I leave sunday 8/28 headed for Cincinnati for orientation.

I would just like to thank all the guy/gals on this forum for helping me make my decision.

I'll keep you all posted on my progress through training.

I still am not real sure why they didn't send me to Birmingham instead, it's a lot closer than cincinnati.

it might be an equipment issue, maybe a new truck sitting on the yard.

I sent my app in earlier this week and have not heard back from them. Should I contact someone in HR? I'm interested in working for them too.

I drove OTR for 3 years, but that was about 6 years ago. Decided to go to cdl school after being laid-off and graduated from there July 28th. I have no flatbed experience...yet.
