My company pays air miles. Not once have I complained about it.

WHY would you take less than you should earn? You do know that because you'll do it , it means any other slob that walks in will have to take it because you do or go down the road which if he has half of a brain cell left working he'll do. But they are happy you let them bend you over. You are also the reason other companies try to screw the driver. If roads were straight then that pay would be fine but the only straight stretch with no curves in your area is between Lakeland and Lake Panasoffkee and 528. Those must be your routes but running local in Fl is almost like driving on straight roads with no curves worth being called a curve..So I guess being paid "air miles" might almost be ok, but that's still getting shorted!
Mud Dog, zentrucking, doubledragon5 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Could you imaging a pilot getting paid my the mile??? WOW!!!! Remember it is not just horizontal miles, but vertical as well!!!

That would be the only way I might accept "Air Miles"... Not including Delta or Southwest frequent flier programs.

Being paid anything except hub miles is not being paid miles at all. It is working for a pre determined flat rate for the task.
When that mileage number gets manipulated too much I do speak up. (complain?) Doesn't make a diff to those who control it. Not complaining, shopping for a better job.Rollover the Original, zentrucking and Mud Dog Thank this. -
The thing is , i should have asked how ndl payed in miles .In my defence how ever,I was taken my the .49 cents a mile ,not untill i got to orintation did i know of the no stop pay ,no break down or lay over pay.but we were already there and time and money all ready invested so i thought we would work there untill i at least got a little money up.our second trip out is when we learn of how we were getting paid Air miles ,im in ah of how many drivers were aware of this and replied its better than nothing.well im a good driver with a good record .if youve a good work history and driving record you should drive for a better co ,if not ndl will be glad to put you to work.my the way of the short changed miles we drove they only gave us less than half that.and they took back the orintation pay we received.Ill some it up ok.the folks at ndl are really nice ,friendly as they can be. Coin the phrase Some of the Nicest people i know are the biggest crooks!!!

I'll rephrase.
I never said I agreed with air miles. But I knew I would be paid air miles going in. And I knew a lot of companies pay this way, even though they shouldn't. -
I guarantee these companies charge their customers actual miles.
You've been-----\/\/\/\-----Thunderstruck!!!

Oh, I'm almost certain they do. Gotta pay for the office parties and mansions somehow.
