Got a really good insurance quote today....

    $5449.00... unlimited operating area...1,000,000 liability, 1,000 deductible on physical damage, bobtail, unladen on my tractor valued at $18,000 and my trailer valued at $10,000.

    This year I'm paying over $7K for similar coverage. I get my liability thru my carrier but at no mark-up.

    This is the best quote I've seen in years.

    If it includes cargo, $5449 is blowout cheap. Ask for a long term contract...grin

    But that quote probably doesn't include cargo ins.

    i would add a million general liability with that for any unforeseen circumstances like someone falling in your trailer and getting hurt etc. (some brokers require it) last time i got it was like $250 for the year

    what is the insurance infor if u dont mind mr.Krooser?. my current broker charging us 2k down each TNT plus 750 usd for 9 payment, i got 1m liability and 250k cargo, deductible 1000 for 20k tractor, trailer for 10k. totaled somewhere around 9k/years each unit that equipped with GPS tracking unit. i know this is so expensive...

    I got a quote for 9200 for reefer. I was just fishing around, dont even own a trailer - I was planning on for next year. I'm happy paying 194.00/month for now.
