Great Company to work for! They treat you well, give you good equipment and get you home for a re-start on the weekends. You won't get rich, but the pay is OK. You will get 2000 to 2500 miles per week usually. On a bad week, you'll get less than 2000 miles and it will happen that way sometimes. I would be shocked if you were not happy there. I hated to leave Epes, but when opportunity knocks, you gotta go.

 

Have not talked to any drivers from FL, but I'm pretty sure they will get you home if you are in the hiring area. Call recruiting and talk to Melissa. She is a really nice lady and will give you all the info you need. I honestly can't say anything bad about Epes. I hated to leave there a few weeks ago, but I was offered a job with a local company and just could not turn it down.

I've never heard a bad thing about them other then they run E-Logs.

I know 2 guys that work there both very happy

I was on Paper logs at Epes and a large percentage of the trucks do have e-logs. All new trucks have them, so I'm sure in time they will be 100% e-logs. I'm on e-logs with my new company and it works fine for me.

 

You can learn to love e-logs now or later. It's coming for everybody anyway and nobody's going to stop it.
