Now I know most everyone who have worked for this company hates the place. I would say that it is true if you drive OTR with them or trained with them, you have the right to hate them. This is what their own drivers have told me anyway. Also the Fontana yard sucks! All that dirt and dust. Also the mechanics aren't worth a squat!

I drove on 2 different dedicated accounts for CRST out of Fontana, CA. I loved both of them. The first was dedicated UPS account from Los Angeles to Louisville, KY airport. Drop n hook. Had an 8 hour break while getting loaded and then back to Los Angeles. I was gone 4 days and home for 3. This was in 2008 and I grossed $850 a week. The other was dedicated for R&L carriers. Went to Seattle, UT, IL, IN then back to Fontana. All drop n hook and all loads waiting for us. They were doubles all hooked up. Grossed $981 a week and home about 3 days a week. Had benefits first day on the truck and got paid during orientation. They told me to be quiet about the orientation pay because the regular OTR guys weren't getting any. That sucks! So if you don't mind not making too much money and having good home time then CRST dedicated is good. If you want OTR, go somewhere else!

Sounds like a pretty decent gig!

Sign seen on truck stop bulletin board long ago: CRST = Cheap Rates Slow Trucks.

For some reason, I've always remembered that. And never considered CRST! :biggrin_25520:

Truck I had did 64 mph. Their insurance sucks too but I really liked the run.

Are you sure you have the right thread? I thought this one was for companies you "Liked". Slow trucks, crappy pay, lousy mechanics. That doesn't sound like a company I would like regardless of how the run went.

Hahaha! Well home time was the most important thing to me at the time and the money was ok. I was able to be away from home and had the same lanes and knew when I'd be home. I'm not saying the company was good but my runs were. I guess I need to post in the "good runs section" Haha.

CRST just shot me an E-mail. I was going to over look them cuz I thought they were strictly teams. Correct me if I'm wrong but, it sounds like your running solo?
