Ah man, that reminds me when my answering machine was filled with 10 calls per day from companies wanting to hire me to start the next day. That is why I have so much experience now... out of high school I worked temp service and a lot of the jobs only lasted a few weeks or max 3 months so I did all types of jobs and learned pretty much every job skill imaginable. Heck once I was even an orthopedic technician building braces for injured patients at a major hospital! You needed a degree for that but all of my skills qualified me for the job.
Am I pretty much blacklisted now?

Just because a company doesn't use DAC, it makes them a slim ball outfit, maybe the reverse is actually true. I worked for 3 different companies and none of them used DAC.
Like Injun said, get out there and pound the pavement in person, talk to the hiring manager and explain your situation. See a truck from your area, research the company on line, so you go in with some knowledge of that companies operation.
You have a year under your belt, there is no need to go back to one of the Bottom Feeders. Check the on line drivers wanted section for your area. Make believe you are doing a difficult offside back...GOAL
I'll bet you will be driving again within a month.JimBad Thanks this. -

but then what woulda happen if they got on down the road and reported it anyway? Then the other driver could get insurance to pay for my damage, get me in trouble, and he pockets all the cash I gave him. I'd definitely be out of a job if they found I failed to report an accident.. but I'm out of a job anyway so that might have been wise.
And the placard thing was at a company yard and some guy saw it and make a big stink to the office people so we had to report that.. the other 2 were just between me and the driver though. Oh well I guess thats what I get for being honest -
me being a rookie just has to ask WHY would try to blindside back anyway that just wasnt very smart

look at smaller mom/pop companies, most don't use DAC as they find it a waste of time, vague or inaccurate

"failing to report" can also lead to criminal charges,so you need to be very careful.
but,id try everything to get the best outcome possible for myself. dac should be against the law in my opinion.
goodluck, just keep applying...i still wouldnt list any of those accidents on an application, they arent on your dmv report..by listing or even mentioning them youre highlighting the issue,if they pull your dac and mention it,personally id say it didnt happen straight up,and theyre trying to blacklist me. id also do a dacfix and put that right on there that theyre lying,it didnt happen etc etc.. -

I haven't seen this posted, maybe many aren't aware. You can and should file a rebuttle with anything that gets reported on DAC. You are not contesting anything so much as having a permanent record of 'your side of the story'. The company that put the reportables on your DAC to begin with, has 5 days to submit your rebuttle to any company that inquires about information contained on your DAC report. We have to cover our own butt out here boys and girls. No one else is going to. Good luck.

I just basically said how the were very low value, total of all 3 didn't exceed $500, etc. I also pointed out how my final 6 months were accident free.
I'm looking at little local delivery box truck type stuff now, and my 1st accident is 1 year old already, so when it becomes more than 3 years old, I will become insurable again. I'll be able to say no to the question "have you had more than 2 accidents in the past 3 years?" and from that point I had 6+ months experience after that, so I should meet the minimum requirements to drive OTR witha big company again.
Funny thing is.. you can have 4 moving violations in the past 4 years and still be insurable.. so if I woulda got ticketed for going 60mph in a 30mph zone 3 times, I would be a better candidate than I am now lol..zebcohobo Thanks this.
