May trucking is unfair

    After driving for May Trucking Company for close to 5 years and never having a late load or accident. May Trucking Company fired me for having an arguement with another lease driver. The other driver was causing a unsafe situtation on the road with a rookie driver I was training. After I had words with the driver he went to M.T.C. and told them I was threating him with bodily harm which I never did nor did I touch him or his truck. Mr. ROB C ( director of safety)..Called me into his office and listen to what I had to say and then he told me he didnt beleive a word that I siad... And this is two weeks after the agurement and after my driver manger and I had talked about the whole thing.... Mr.ROB C is the worst and most unprofessional person I have came across in my 22 years in the trucking industry.....My advice to anyone looking at MAY TRUCKING COMPANY for a job watch your back and avoid MR. ROB C at all cost... If he doesnt like you for some reason he wll take your job away. MR.ROB C doesnt like anyone who speaks their mind or disagrees with the almighty MAY TRUCKING COMPANY.....

    I'm really sorry you were fired for that. Proof that trucking doesn't need drivers and the drivers' shortage is a lie.

    I hope you can find a good job with a real trucking company soon...

    I have never seen a driver "have words" with another driver where bodily harm was not front and center in the conversation at some point.

    If this 5 year vet of May would of read his employee manual he would of seen the part where threatening action, or words agianst another employee was grounds for termination.

    You don't have words with anyone except the safety dept if this driver was doing what he said. As a trainer he should of known that

    A driver can get fired for more then just having late loads or accidents no matter how long their tenure is with the company.
