There are several threads about them in the bad companies section. It seems they've gotten more bad reviews than good on here

Rainman - It really depends on which terminal you lease on to. Per your profile the closest terminal to you is 6064 (Cleburne) Is this the terminal you are thinking about hiring on to?

That's my observation exactly. I see GW alot of places I deliver too. Seems almost every driver owns a ragged out piece of junk and that's what they attract. If it was a good company, you'd think some of them would be able to afford to drive something with less than a half million miles on it. I guess the ones with new truck payments can't afford to work there. Because you don't see any.

I take that back. Once, I seen one older driver at a Walmart with a older nice long nose KW.

any word on how the goodstart program works out, in denver pa. is the miles and the pay there to cover expenses and still have money in the pocket also

Anytime you buy a truck from a trucking company it is going to be tough sledding... Greatwide will bend you over without any grease in this greatstart plan. It doesn't matter the amount of mile you get they are going to screw you over.. If you want to be an o/o save the money and go buy a truck.. If you can't do it that way be a company driver, because as a lease purchase signee you are just that anyway... One that foots the entire bill...
On another note stay away from greatwide. I say that and they will give me 2500 bucks if I lie to you and tell you to lease on.
