Federal regulations have no business interfering IN business. If you think BMI is the end of it, you don't know your history. If a person is fat or thin, that is their personal affair. Soon, we are gonna be told how and what to think, that is the problem you are forgetting about. Sure, encourage to get healthy, but we don't need LAWS and government telling us how to live our lives. THAT, Mr. Redd, is UN American.

ATTENTION, ATTENTION; All quack doctors and Prime Co shills, Please call Carolina Southern And tell them that the average sized driver that claimed to have Sleep Apnea when he rearended their truck was lying! You stated only fat people have any need to be tested! I,m sure they will appreciate your help.

They still get hired, just not without the test and treatment if required.
Based on the screening process nearly all of us fatties end up taking the test.
To my knowledge there have been only a few average size people sent to a sleep test.
Unfortunatly for the Average sized individual, the only way they get flagged is by their answers to the questionare... most dont exhibit the outward physical characteristics in the Dr. office.SHC Thanks this. -
Here at western express they are also doing the bmi and your answers on your physical to see if you have to do the sleep study or not. They still hire you but you have to have the sleep study within 90 days of your hire date.

Push yourselves away from the buffet and you wouldn't have these problems...... and more movement is needed to keep healthy than holding a steering wheel for 11hrs a day and opening 2 doors LOL

You folks are missing the whole point! I agree it is better to be healthy, and be a proper weight for your height. I don't agree that it is the company or governments business on what amounts to be the lifestyle a person chooses. If there is a genuine problem, then so be it and the person doesn't get hired. However, this is just one more step towards someone telling you what you can and can't do with your life. Whats the next step, regulating what radio shows to listen to, or what TV show to watch, or not? How about how many sit ups and push ups you did for the day? How many calories did you consume today?. It doesn't stop, and if you think that this isn't possible, think about how it was only a few years ago you could carry a gun to protect yourself, and now you have to have "permission" now. Maybe thats a poor example, but think about it. How much salt did you take today? Sound familiar?
jerrytdd Thanks this.
